Literally has stolen my money twice. ESPECIALLY through Uber eats. I unfortunately give up. I'll stick with door dash. The App on two occasions now has randomly changed my order location, for a place it thinks is closer, I guess? but you aren't notified until after you submit and the app doesn't let you check this info before. they then charge you for cancelling, even if it's only 15 seconds after submitting and finding they changed the order. I cannot be clear enough, Uber will steal from you

Completely disfunctional recently. Payment processing seems to be working on a 1 in 20 basis. This means that for short rides, and Especially if you use the app also to book scooters or shared bikes it's almost always better to just walk, because it also ceased to show the allowed locking areas, thereby sensing you on a wild goose chase. No idea what kind of update they did, but it's complete rubbish now.

While in a ride, I was unable to add a stop for a return trip. Uber has this feature enabled, but I constantly got the "Unable to update the destination for this trip." Yes, I was "adding a stop," not changing a destination already in progress. Uber is less expensive than Lyft, but takes higher % of fare. So tip your driver more than you would with Lyft.
